Hello Again, and thanks for coming back to find out what we have been up to

this week.

GETTING FIT-    Premier Sports came  in to practice some running.  Its called the  'Golden Mile".  We can run, jump hop or skip to do as many laps as possible each lunchtime, and we might achieve our Golden Mile!

In English this week we have been looking at the story 'We're Going On A Bear Hunt'.

We have been learning some lovely new 'swishy swashy, swirling whirling words!

It was Mrs Balls birthday this week.  We sang happy birthday - She  brought in a cake in for us all!  Yum! Yum!

Topic is still great fun....We have been making bear collages, doing some lovely writing and we made a cave.  We worked really hard on this....What do you think?

We had an Author in to tell us a story today...He was called James and the stories he told were so funny.  We were all really laughing!

 We are having a cake sale for charity today....the cakes looks beautiful!

Spider Class

Thanks for joining us again!  We have been doing some drama this week and acting out from our Mouse and Strawberry book!  Can you guess who our greedy little mouse is???

We disguised a strawberry too, so that the fox didnt know we had any!

We have been learning some number bonds in maths..We have some very good maths brains in Spiders!   Topic is still lots of fun.  We had a go at drawing a teddy bear.. They came out really well.  We used lego and our imaginations to make some 'bear traps'  Have a look at some!

We used some netting and sticks to make a bear trap too!

Yummy Strawberries!

We have been reading a story called The Little Mouse, The Red Ripe Strawberry and the BIG HUNGRY BEAR!  We have had lots of fun and even tasted some strawberries!

Most people had tasted them before..... We really enjoyed them!

We are enjoying our year 1 spider class.........
