Hello again and thanks for coming back to see what we have been doing in Spider class this week.

We have as always worked really hard.  We have been learning making maps of our school and also made some lovely information leaflets about Northgate Primary too.  We have put lots of effort into them and they are very informative!!

Our Topic is still Plants and Growing.  In our topic lessons we have been looking at paintings by Monet and have made our Monet Pictures.  We have been making bridges from a Monet picture called "The Garden"

We have used our Learnpads too this week, and had fun while we learnt!

We are looking forward to our school trip next week, come have a look at the pictures next week to see what we got up to !

Another week over in Spider Class.  We have again been doing lots of learning, making some lovely things and having fun in the sun!  (We have some biscuits on the field now the sun is shining).

We planted some beans in our Topic...some of them have grown really big!!  When we bring them home we are keeping our fingers crossed that we can get some real beans from them!  We have also planted some spring onions and lettuces and we are hoping they grow too!

We have been learning about where different foods grow in different countries and why, its been really interesting!

In our maths lessons we have been learning how to use 'bridges' when adding big numbers!  We found it tricky at first, but we have got the hang of it now!

Thanks for checking in and fingers crossed for our vegetables!!

Hello Everyone!

Thanks for coming back to see what Spider class has been doing!  We are still finding lots and lots of stuff out about castles and knight!.. We finally got to go Norwich Castle!  We had the most amazing time.  We got to see some servants, try on some posh King and queen clothes and lots lots more.

We made our own pennants (its like a flag) to show which knight we would support.
We saw a real life knight...we were in the dungeons of the Castle!

There was a HUGE well!  We all had a penny, made a wish and put it in the well.!  We hope our wishes come true!  We had an excellent day at the Castle.  We would like to go back again, with our families!.

We had a great time!  There were lots of tired children on the way home!
Bye Bye Norwich Castle!

Hi Everyone.  Thanks for having a look at what we have been up to in Spider Class.

We in PE we have been doing some drama.  The book is called Stone Soup.  We have been acting out different roles of the 'villagers' and the traveler.  We had lots of fun learning how greet people in different ways. It was fun, there were lots of high- fives!!

Our Topic this term is Castles and we are so lucky as we are going on a coach to visit Norwich castle next week.  Its going to be so much fun, we even get to go in the dungeons and through a penny in a REALLY deep well!

We had a real life KNIGHT come to visit us!  He brought he's sword and we could try his helmet on if we wanted to!

We have been looking at a book called 'The Worst Princess'.  Its about a Princess who doesnt want to do what the 'average' Princess  does!  She wants to ride on dragons and wear trainers instead of glass slippers.

In our Topic lessons, we have made our very own castle, made some knights helmets and our very own catapult!  We are going to have a pretend battle!

We will take lots of good pictures of Spider class at Norwich Castle for you to look at.

Thanks
